St. Anne is the patroness of this early learning center because of the journey of her own life.  St. Anne has a very important role in the life of the church.  She is the Mother of Mary, and grandmother of Jesus.  She was married to St. Joachim.  The tradition of the Church is that the union of Sts. Joachim and Anne produced their only child, Mary,  who would later become the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Who better to watch over the children of our Early Learning Center than the mother of Mary.
